Class Description
Course covers the basics of importing geometry, repairing and usage for fixture design in Inventor 11. Ample time is given
for questions.
Prerequisites:
Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor is recommended.
Course
Outline:
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Import CAD data from other systems into Autodesk Inventor and review the results.
- Analyze, organize, repair, and promote data imported from other CAD systems. You will also be
able to import, compare, and manage engineering changes.
- Design a fixture that includes the base, supports, clamps, risers, and locator pins. You will also be
able to position welding guns to specific spot weld locations on the part geometry.
- Create and use parting line geometry.

User will receive a certificate of completion
and 30 days of mentoring to insure retention and overall success.
Students may retake the same class within 1 year of completion at no
additional cost. (Manuals not provided for retakes)
