Class Description
Course covers the basics of creating a drawing, use of tools, layouts
and plotting in AutoCAD 2006/2007 or LT 2008/2009. Ample time is given
for questions. Student will receive a certificate of completion
and 30 days of mentoring to insure retention and overall success.
Students may retake the same class within 6 months of completion at no
additional cost. (Manuals not provided for retakes)
Prerequisites:
Familiarity with drafting principles is recommended.
Experience Using Microsoft Windows
Hardware/Software Requirements:
- Properly configured CAD System with Windows 2000, XP, or Vista (with compatible Autodesk software)
- Sound card and speakers or optional headset (recommended) for bidirectional voice communication. No telephone call-in required.
- Hi Speed Internet Access (DSL, Cable, FIOS on other Broadband Access is recommended).
- 1280x1024 Full color resolution or higher, recommended, 1024x768 minimum. Preferences: 17" or larger monitor.
- Optionally, dual monitors will provide the best experience, your Autodesk session on one monitor, the course on a second monitor.
- Full Installation of AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT versions 2008/2009.
